  1. First 1.52 × 7 = 10.64 kg.

8 equal containers each hold 2.46 litres. After 0.5 litres are used, how much remains?

  1. The containers hold 8 × 2.46 = 19.68 litres.
  2. After use, 19.68 − 0.5 = 19.18 litres remain.
Answer: 19.18 litres
